Touched By My Very First Time

I thought I was going to die! Familiar stories help us to not feel so bad about our own, “Firsts.”

An anonymous tale. “Tonight I fucked up by going into my wife's purse without asking.” A gentleman claims he he saw a packet of candy sticking out of his wife’s purse and thinking they looked like Sour Patch Kids he grabbed a handful and eventually went to bed. He woke up around 3 am to use the bathroom and when he tried to stand up he was super dizzy and his thoughts started going wild. That’s when the panic set in. He woke up his wife and said, “If I don’t wake up, or if I go crazy, tell my kids I love them.” Just before he fell back into a coma like sleep he said out loud, "My wife has good insurance on me so if I die they'll be taken care of." His wife laughed believing he was having a crazy dream.

In the morning his wife sees the mostly empty candy wrapper and laughing she asks, “Did you eat the pack of candy from my purse called Stoney Patch Kids? Now it makes sense why you were so weird last night. They are edibles a friend gave me to try. Next time you are looking in my purse you might want to ask.”

So how did your first time feel? Mine was pretty freaky. Watching people get high will never prepare you for actually getting high. Everyones reactions and sensations are so unique to them.

What is really interesting is that no matter how many freaky times people may experience very few have ever given up on weed. No one dies from weed. You may feel like it on those rare occasions, but you don’t.

My first happened when I was fifteen, on a family vacation in Florida. My siblings and I met the grooviest kids we had ever known, they were from Ohio. Wow, they knew how to party and so we became best vacation buddies.

Then came the night they took us to their friends apartment and passed the first reefer I had ever put to my lips. I wanted to be cool and act like I was just like them, haha I will never forget how freaked out I began to feel after one toke.

The room was spinning and I remember thinking, oh god if I pass out and end up in the hospital my parents will freak and the best vacation of my life and all its potential will be OVER!!

I had to hold it together and I had to act cool I couldn’t let anyone know what was going on.

The neat thing about pot is that you can still think (maybe too much at times) and so I told myself to keep moving but how could I do it without drawing attention to my dilemma.

Then myself said, move off the footstool to the floor so I did in what felt like really slow slow motion. I continued to move up and down every few minutes for what seemed like hours until I could feel myself come back to earth. This was 1978.

I have never given up! Have you?

I’d love to know how your first time was. Share with us your story or leave a comment or a question let’s keep the Reefer’s Digest Rollin.

Cheers Momma J
